On Saturday afternoon we staged the Short Mat Grand National Finals. During the afternoon refreshments were served to the players and supporters.
All Short Mat members who entered the competitions during the season were on a big learning curve in each of their games. With lessons learned on playing the sport both in the delivery of weight – backhand and forehand approach. The main objective being “To Focus” and enjoy the sport of Short Mat Bowls with a Smile!!
Our first game started with Tony Soar v Ian Fisher playing for the Roy Cushion Trophy.

The second match was between John Wickham and Shirley Butcher playing in the Graham Read Trophy. Well done John on winning the Trophy.
